Berlin Shop Report
So the saying “better late than never” really does apply to this post ……………
Back in November, I had a little research visit to Berlin and covered a few shops whilst I was there.
These are some of my favorites ……but they should come with a *beans on toast warning
Civilist, Brunnenstraße 13, 10119 Berlin, Germany
Firmament, Linienstrasse 40, 10119 Berlin

SOTO, Torstraße 72, 10119 Berlin
Voo, Oranienstraße 24, 10999 Berlin
*beans on toast warning = this is what you’ll be eating for the next few months after a visit
The Capsule by Tom Dixon for Adidas
Displayed at MOST (part of Milan Design Week) The Capsule by Tom Dixon for Adidas collection, is an example of the Britsh Designers quest in promoting forward thinking design, culture & technology
Loving the experimental, factory inspired display and the multi-functional convertible garments.
The colour use is immense, especially the bold, solid primary colour’s against the neutral tones of sand & grey
Especially a fan of the packaging layout, font and utilitarian approach to its design
Available in stores worldwide from mid November 2013
Fredrik Paulsen – Furniture
Clothsurgeon SS13 lookbook
Vladimir Karaleev – AW13/14
Not come across Vladimir Karaleev before ……… but Im totally in love with some of his pieces shown at the “Rooms” trade show in Tokyo, Japan
The Hungarian born, Berlin based designer is influenced by geometric structures and keeps a close connection to the art scene.
His AW13/14 collection explores the combination of contrasting fabrics with an androgynous and modern aesthetic.
